Mrs. Lescott remarked: "There is a challenge for each one of us to personalise the theme (You can make a difference in your world) and seek to make a positive difference in our homes, in our communities and indeed in our world".

While reporting on the challenges and achievements during the year under review, Mrs Lescott expressed gratitude on behalf of the school for the invaluable support it had received from the Education Department, parents, businesses and the general public. She also expressed gratitude to her staff for the unwavering support and the commendable job exhibited throughout the year.
"You have been making a difference at the Gingerland Primary School and your efforts are greatly appreciated," she told the teachers. "The ripple effect of this difference is felt throughout the community and indeed the world. I charge you to continue. We will need to make adjustments as we meet the daily challenges on the high seas of teaching. Find strength in the command and the promise recorded in Joshua 1 verse 9. Even when it gets real tough teachers, keep pressing forward".
"Each of you seek to make a difference in your world," was the simple request that Principal Lescott had for the graduating class. "You have made your choice as to where you will begin at the high school for this is only a starting point. Where you go from here is totally up to you. You must recall the knowledge and skills and values imparted to you at the primary level and seek to build on these."
