Charlestown, Nevis - The ‘weather experts’ at the Stoney Grove tennis courts, called it wrong last evening when they called off the much anticipated finals in the TDC sponsored Men’s doubles finals.  A threat of rain and reports of heavy rains in other areas forced the postponement but up to hours after, there was no rain and the Netball action continued unperturbed at the adjacent Netball Complex.

The grand final game has now been set for the evening of Tuesday 9th November at 6.30 pm.
The players who will be vying for the title are: Andre Theron and Wayne coming up against Ernie France and Anthony Webbe.

However there were two very exciting matches on Saturday evening as the players squared of in the semi final encounters.  The results were:

Andre/ Wayne beat Calvin / Jorn 6 -1  7 - 5

Tony/Ernie beat Ian / Selwyn in a 3 setter match 6 - 2, 1 – 6,    7- 6.
