Historic win for Belle Vue International

Jovainee Somersall-JLP MVP
Press Release

Charlestown, Nevis - There were screams and shouts of joy yesterday at Bath Village playing field, as parents, Teachers and general supporters of the Belle Vue International Primary School went into wild celebrations as their team dished out a historic whipping to their Joycelyn Liburd Primary school opponents.

This, as the Primary school, Giant Malt sponsored Football league continued. The Belle Vue International Primary school team was playing its first match of the tournament this year and very early in the match, it was noted that there was a certain air of confidence and energy among the players, as they passed the ball around and generally outran their opponents.

The Belle Vue team had entered the fray last year and an exuberant Coach Smith explained: “Last year we were new and very tentative but this year, the players have trained hard and they now have the required self confidence and belief in themselves.  I am really proud of them—and we beat Gingerland”, he exclaimed with a note of triumph.

Head Mistress Wilkerson and the other Teachers could not contain themselves and one parent was heard to say: “I hope this gonna reach on CNN as well”.
