BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – FIVE contestants are preparing to take the stage on Saturday (Nov. 20) to compete for the 2010 Miss Shadorama title at the Shadorama Festival City in Shadwell.
The beauties are Shakeda Gerald, Christina Hodge, Shajahma O’Donoghue, Naomi Finch and Crystal Boyles.
The contest will commence with a fanfare, after which the contestants will be judged in the Introductory Speech, Talent, African Wear and Interview segments under this year’s Shadorama Festival’s theme - ‘Fete and Spree in Unity helping to develop a crime free Community’.
According to Shelly Hanley, who is one of the event’s organisers, the contestants would have to incorporate the theme in their Talent performance. She said they were each given a profession that relates to crime in which they would have to mimic in their Introductory Speech.
The pageant is in its second staging and last year saw Amanny Greene taking the title along with the awards for all of the segments.
