Explorer of the Seas docks Saturday, six ships scheduled to visit next week

    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, NOVEMBER 12TH 2010 (CUOPM) – The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s 3,114-capacity cruise ship “Explorer of the Seas” docks at Port Zante for its second visit in as many weeks.

    The ship, which visited St. Kitts last week Wednesday, arrives Saturday morning from St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands.

     

    Five ships docked at Port Zante up to Friday this week bringing the number of passengers to 8,761.
    The 1,950-passenger capacity Sea Princess arrived Friday from Tortola, British Virgin Islands with 2,036 passengers and 839 crew onboard and will leave for Antigua.

     

    On Thursday, the Dawn Princess arrived from Barbados with 2,284 passengers and 1,071 crew and later left for Miami.

     

    Next week, six ships, the Emerald Princess, the Celebrity Mercury, the Celebrity Summit, the Carnival Miracle, the Grand Princess and the Royal Clipper are scheduled to visit.

     

    Last week 18,980 passengers and 7,495 crew members visited St. Kitts from six ships.
