    St. Vincent & the Grenadines - Rain meant that only 31 overs were possible on the first day of the first unofficial Test between West Indies A and Pakistan A at the Arnos Vale Ground in St Vincent. Pakistan A won the toss and elected to field.

     

    The home openers, Kieran Powell and Kraigg Brathwaite, got off to a solid start, putting on 63 for the first wicket in the opening session. Powell was on 33, with three boundaries, while Brathwaite remained unbeaten on 26 with two fours. Seamer Yasir Arafat bowled a tight opening spell, conceding just six runs in his six overs before the skies opened up during the lunch interval, forcing the umpires to call off play an hour before the scheduled close.

     

    West Indies A 63 for 0 (K Powell 33, K Brathwaite 26)

    Windies A left out opener Rajendra Chandrika and fast bowler Brandon Bess.
    Pakistan A won the toss and asked the Caribbean side to bat first.
