Coach Smith for the Belle Vue team was gracious in defeat yesterday when his hitherto unbeaten young guards at the Belle Int Primary School, were totally outclassed by their counterparts at the Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School. This as the action in the Giant Malt sponsored Primary school Football league continued at the Bath Village playing field yesterday.
Coach Smith simply stated: “They were bigger and better than us. They totally outplayed us—no excuses’.
The Elizabeth Pemberton Primary B team totally dominated the game to win 3 goals to nil.
For the EP team, MVP Anthony Silvera scored 1 goal; CJ Farrell 1 and Kayode Wilkin 1. The MVP for the Belle Vue team was Ayinde George.
In another B division fixture, The Joycelyn Liburd Primary School defeated VOJN 3 goals to nil. For the JLP, the MVP Lizarius Freeman scored 1 goal; Wayne Perkins 1 and Ozani Maynard 1. The MVP for VOJN was Patricio Stapleton.
In an A division fixture JLP swamped VOJN six goals to one.
For JLP MVP Jovanie Somersall scored 3 goals; Tajari Arthurton 2 and Hugh Stapleton 1.
For VOJN the lone goal scorer was Malik Semper but the MVP award went to Dejon Browne.
In the final A division game of the day, Elizabeth Pemberton Primary defeated St.James’ four goals to 1. MVP Saeed Webbe scored 3 goals for the EP team and Stephan Collister 1. D-jon Jeffers scored the lone goal for St.James’ but Melissa Clarke was awarded the MVP for her second successive match.

The students and Coaches at the St.Thomas’ school are waiting with baited breaths and hoping that all of the remaining matches in the B division are drawn which will give them a double win for the league this year.
Wins for Elizabeth Pemberton will make them clear winners; a win for Belle Vue will tie them with St.Thomas’ and a win for Charlestown Primary will also tie them with St.Thomas’
It is all to play for as the matches continue today at the same venue.
