Sugar Bowl Bash to rock Club Kactus tomorrow night

By: Cherisse M. Sutton-Jeffers

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE people’s favourite radio personality, Leslie ‘Sugar Bowl’ Morton, will be hosting his annual Birthday Bash from 10:00 tomorrow night (Nov. 27) at Club Kactus.

Morton, whose birthday fell on Monday, November 22, said this is his way of saying thank you to all his fans for their support over the years.

“The love they display sometimes is overwhelming and I just want everyone to continue showing the same love, because I most definitely will,” he added.

Two top bands out of St. Kitts - Nu Vibes Band International and the three-time National Carnival Road March Champs Grand Masters - will rock the outside of Club Kactus’ venue, giving band lovers a piece of what they have been waiting for; while Sweet Sister Sensia, DJ Yardy, TNO Sounds and Guinness Evolution will heat things up on the inside.

One lucky ticket holder will win him/herself a Blackberry phone, compliments LIME. Many other giveaways and great prizes will also be up for grabs, including DVD’s and Top-ups.

No party is complete without food, so there will be endless free food provided by OJ-Watch No Face, S and M Snackette, Tega, De Village Snackette and BCA.

Patrons are reminded that $25 will have to be paid to enter the Bash before 1: 00 a.m. and an additional $5 after.

In saying thank you to his fans on Nevis, Sugar Bowl held a similar party last Saturday night at Pinney’s Night Club, which he said “was sweet and the turnout was excellent”.
