The action continued last evening in the Malcolm Guishard Basketball league with High Voltage taking on the CSS schoolboys. None of the two teams had hitherto won a match and so there was some intensity in the play as the players worked extremely hard to gain ascendancy.
At the end of the game the final score line was forty-four to thirty-three in favour of High Voltage.
For the winning team, Nigel ‘Slammer’ Simmonds scored a game high 20 points; 8 rebs; 1 asst; Starrett France 12 points; 10 rebs; Curtis Morton Jr six points; 3 rebs;.
For the Schoolboys, Cheslyn Hutton 12 points; six rebs; 2asst; Alista Usher 13 points; 3rebs; Khalid Yeldeld four points; four rebs; 2 assts.
The next game will be played this evening at six thirty pm when the GSS schoolboys take on the impressive PJ’s.
