CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (July 11, 2006) --The Nevis Reformation Party (NRP) is now set to take over the governing of Nevis after defeating the incumbent Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) led by former Premier Vance Amory in a close race for the Nevis Island Administration election. The incoming Premier is Mr. Joseph Walcott Parry leader of the NRP.
Mr. Parry is an experienced politician starting his career in 1987 and reaching maturity in Government as the Minister of Tourism, Agriculture, Lands, Housing, Development and Labour. He was one of the principle architects of the first development plan for Nevis.
