An experienced panel of cricket selectors is expected to meet today to select what will be referred to as ‘the official Nevis All star cricket X1’.

Chairman of the panel, Hon Carlylse Powell who has vast experience as a Cricket Administrator, has indicated that they will be utilizing the basic guidelines used in selecting similar all star international teams.

The full panel of selectors comprise:

Hon Carlylse Powell-chairman; Hon Joseph Parry; Ashley Farrell; Hastings Daniel; Stevenson Manners and Clayton ‘Powers’ Liburd.

Sports caster Curtis Morton is indicating that the plan is for the panel to meet on Choice Sports rap, the popular sports program hosted by Malcolm Ramsey on Thursday sixteenth December when the team will be officially released. Callers will be able to interact with the selectors about their rational for selection or non selection of specific players.

Persons who previously submitted their personal teams may be able to win a monetary prize as well, based on the response of the callers.
