Leonard Gumbs of Parray Village, St. Peters was charged with the offence of "Attempted Murder" when on Wednesday 5^th July 2006, he attacked a male adult from the same area wounding him in his chest using a knife.

·         Wallon Liburd of Half Way Tree was charged with the offence of "Building Breaking and Larceny" committed between 12^th and 13^th September 2005.

·         Clarence Samuel of Saddlers Village was charged with the offence of "Receiving" committed between 2^nd and 4^th July 2006.

·         Dean Fredrick of Green Tree Housing Project was charged with the offence of "Being armed with an offensive weapon" committed on 7^th July 2006. He was later bailed in the sum of $2,000.00 to appear at the Sandy Point Magistrate Court on 10^th July 2006.

The following persons were convicted and sentenced at the Sandy Point Magistrate Court on 7^th July 2006;

·         Alexis DeCosta of Sandy Point who was charged with the offence of "Possession of a Controlled Drug" cannabis committed on 9^th February 2006 pleaded guilty to the offence and was sentenced to two months hard labour.

At the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Friday 7^th July 2006, Lester "Eightball" Tross of Pitcairn Street, Newton who was charged with the offence of House Breaking and Larceny committed on 1^st July 2006 was granted bail in the sum of $15,000.00 to appear at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on 14^th August 2006.
