NELSON SPRING, Nevis – LESS than three months after his induction in the Premiere International “Who’s Who” Hall of Fame, Nevis’ top real estate developer Deon Daniel is once again globally recognised.
Daniel, who has recently received a Caribbean World Travel and Living Award for his foresight in developing Nelson Spring Beach Villas and Spa on Nevis, is the Managing Director of Deon & Associates and has taken his passion for community development in his native Nevis to unrivalled proportions over the past 15 years.
His career in this prestigious field of work was launched in 1995, and five years after he took a giant’s step in the construction of luxury villas.
The award was presented to Daniel at the 16th International Caribbean World Awards held in London last month (Nov.) after Phase One of the nelson Spring Beach Villas and Spa was voted Best Waterside Development of the Year.
On receipt of the plaque that was presented to him last week, Daniel said, “I am grateful to God to have had this prestigious award added to our portfolio and to be able to continue contributing to the international recognition of my homeland as a high-end tourist destination.”
He declared that his company is committed to “repackaging the glory days of Nevis’ significant and rich history and heritage; hence the significant capital investment in the construction of two and three-bedroom Beach Villas at Nelson Spring, which reflects our company’s slogan ‘Luxury Living on the Beach’”.
Nelson Spring Beach Villas and Spa is a beach front property located several hundred feet from the ruins of Jamestown, Nevis’ first town. This magnificent development is also flanked by the world famous Nelson’s Spring, named after British Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson who watered his ships there during his voyages in the 1620s.
Daniel explained that Phase One of the Nelson Spring Beach and Spa is complete with 24 villas comprising two and three-bedroom units. He added that Phase Two is currently under construction and, on completion, would showcase 10 blocks comprising six three-bedroom units, 54 two-bedroom units and 27 one-bedroom units in a luxurious setting on beachfront property.
In a letter to the Managing Director, publisher of Caribbean World Travel Magazine Ray Carmen stated that the award of Best Waterside Development of the Year to Nelson Spring Beach Villas & Spa would be announced in the Winter Edition number 65 of the magazine, and would also be published until October 27, 2011 on several websites which will be viewed by millions around the world.
