What started as a friendly debate at a Charlestown business place has culminated into quite some excitement as sporting fans on Nevis await the much anticipated release of an all time Nevis Cricket X1.

Over the last several months, cricket pundits on Nevis were invited to submit their top eleven cricketers who have represented Nevis from the very first representative team to the present. Quite a number of teams were submitted ahead of a deadline stipulated by Sports caster Curtis Morton.

Since then a panel of selectors comprising mainly of former cricket administrators on Nevis was assembled and has since met and selected what will now be referred to as the official Nevis all time X1.

Today is the day that the grand revelation of the team will be made during the popular Sports Rap program on Choice Radio, hosted by Malcolm Ramsey.

Prior to the grand announcement, callers will be able to interact with members from the panel of selectors who will be present on the program.

Morton has further revealed that originally there were some proposals of quite a big sum of money being donated to a lucky winner but so far only two donations were received towards the cause:  Brian Jeffers and the well read News link Newspaper have each donated one hundred dollars.  According to Morton, one lucky winner will be awarded the money during the course of the program.
