Anastasia, Lala new Monarchs
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A large crowd turned out last night (Dec. 17) to witness the crowning of two new monarchs in the Best of the Rest and Female Bacchanal Competitions at the Sugar Mill, formerly known as the Warner Park Football Stadium.
Best of the Rest, the first of the two competitions, saw Lala dethroning Hot Rod, who secured the First Runner-up position, while newcomer Lord Felix was voted Second Runner-up.
For the females, Queen Anastasia, who gave an excellent performance singing ‘Anastasia for PM’, defeated all of her challengers to take the crown from last year’s winner Singing Jackie, who, like Hot Rod, was adjudged First Runner-up.
The Second and Third Runners-up positions were awarded to the two sisters, Kibie and Miss Independent respectively.
