The Professional Promoters organised Inception-A Dream Affair, for the first time ever, will occur on the night of Saturday, December 25 from 10:00 p.m. and will feature a host of top entertainers.

According to one of the organisers, Ermelin Sebastian, there are 10 reasons why people should attend this event.

“Reason one is, because upon arrival at the Fort Thomas Grounds you will receive your very own Inception glow in the dark mug filled with our signature cocktail Inceptini,” she said.

“After you walk our red carpet you can have your photo taken against our signature backdrop, courtesy Link-a-Link Entertainment, with your crew or with the model of your dreams…courtesy S Model Management”, Sebastian said of reason two.

The promoter said reason three is because they have already stocked a large variety of liquor and that Small Axe Band would be performing on the night, adding “you can drink as you like”.

Patrons would have a choice from a number of drinks and premium drinks, including Black Label, Hypnotiq, Henessy, Bailey’s, beer and Guinness from 10:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.
“Reason four Inception is for you, because if you arrive before 12 midnight you will be eligible to win a ticket to St. Maarten, compliments Travel World, as well as an Xtreme J’Ouvert package, compliments Xtreme J’Ouvert,” she said.

Sebastian said another reason why persons should attend Inception is because their local corner is the only place on the night to get cane juice, coconut water, boiled nuts, sugar cakes and other local treats.

“Reason six Inception is for you, because the historic Fort Thomas Hotel Grounds is the only venue on the 25 and 26 of December where you’ll hear the sounds of Sweet Sister Sensia, Sugarbowl, Wett Dutt, Magic Fingers Ronnie Rascal and DJ Ibis…the Livest outta Antigua,” she added.

Reasons seven and eight indicate that Inception is the only event where you can get your own Soca Bed and also where you can be an Unstoppable Force while you Flip Motion, Under the Sea of Fun, Fete and Bacchanal and where you can drink as you like.

The ninth reason is that Inception is the only event on the 25th where persons can party with the newly-crowned Soca Monarch, King Konris.

“Reason 10 Inception is for you, because the Road March Champions Burning Flames out of Antigua will be there,” she said.

Musical entertainment for Inception will be provided by Nu Vybes, Small Axe, Grand Masters and Kollision Bands; King Konris; Shakki; Stitch in Time; and Burning Flames of Antigua; while DJs for the night are Ronnie Rascal, Wet Dutt, Sister Sensia and Antigua’s DJ Ibis.
With a cover charge of EC$100 (regular), patrons can enjoy free drinks (including premium) all night, while EC$150 will be for the VIP, who will be entitled to free food in addition to the all night free drinks.
