BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – FOR many weeks posters were erected around Basseterre for the 4th Annual One Family Promotions Reggae Bash to feature Jamaican artiste Popcaan, but organisers have now confirmed that the event has been cancelled.
SKNVibes PEP spoke briefly with Mahlon Goma of One Family Promotions, who said, “We had to make a decision to call off the event at the last minute after speaking with the artiste and his management team.”
However, all is not lost as Goma said he promised the people Popcaan and they would get him, but at a later date, possible in January.
Popcaan is a member of Vybz Kartel’s Portmore Empire and is known for tracks like ‘Sell We Out’, ‘Dream’, ‘My War’ and the ultimate hit topper ‘Clarks’ single with Kartel.
The show was slated for tomorrow (Dec. 24) at Carnival Village and would have also featured C-Money, Nicha B, Rolhensha, Kash Man, Guinness Evolution and the Nu Vybes Band.
Last year the One Family Promotions Reggae Bash had featured Tanya Stephens.
