BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – WITH Nu Vybes Band declaring Road March ‘out a style’ and Grand Masters Band saying they would retain the title, more buzz has been added as King Konris has announced he would be challenging the 2010 title.

According to the newly-crowned Soca Monarch, he would be going full force for this year’s Road March title because it has been a long time since an individual has won the title

Konris said he recently finalised preparations to have a truck and a band in place for him to be a part of the J’Ouvert morning celebrations.

“It will be Konris and the Front Line Band, and CD’s would be on sale as well as T-shirts. We are also going to feature all of the popular songs for this year,” he said.

Konris stated that the band is for every and anybody and he would like everyone to come out and have a good J’Ouvert jam session and be an unstoppable force together.

He also told SKNVibes PEP that this would be an all inclusive event for him, as he would be making guest performances in all the J’Ouvert troupes.

The calypso sensation also revealed that he would be featuring Shakki, C-Money and X-Man, Runners-up of the Soca Monarch Competition.

The annual J’Ouvert morning celebration will take place through the streets of Basseterre on December 27, 2010.
