Attempted break-in at King Konris’s home

By: Rawle Nelson, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - HOURS after being adjudged 2010/2011 Road March Champion, a bandit(s) attempted to break into the Mattingley Heights family residence of Konris Maynard.

Speaking with SKNVibes, Konris’ father, Lincoln ‘Contender’ Maynard, said that sometime between last night and this morning (Jan. 3-4) an individual or individuals attempted to break into their home.

Maynard said nothing was stolen and that not much damage was done to the property.
“It was just an attempted break-in and there was no major damage to the property.”

He noted that the police were contacted and officers are currently conducting investigation into the matter.

The senior Maynard said they are clueless as to the motive behind the attempted break-in and they cannot say who the perpetrator or perpetrators were.

“We did not recognise anyone but the police are investigating the matter.”

Attempts to contact Konris were futile, as it was pointed out that today is his first day of work at his new place of employ.

Konris Maynard took both the Soca and Road March titles in the just concluded 2010/2011 National Carnival activities to add to his already bulging trophy collections.
