~~Adz:Left~~Basseterre, St. Kitts (July 19, 2006): Nagico Insurance and National Caribbean Insurance are among the first private sector companies to give support to the momentous staging of the Caribbean Gift and Craft Show, slated for St. Kitts and Nevis.
At a brief ceremony on Wednesday, Nagico's General Manager Austin Julius and National Insurance's Sales and Marketing Manager Floyd Charles presented cheques to Austin Weekes of the Craft House for the September 14 - 17 event. The total places Nagico in the diamond category level of sponsorship, while National falls into the platinum level.
The private sector representatives stressed that their companies felt it was important to contribute to the hosting of the three-day event.
"We believe this effort will benefit the country tremendously and we want to share in this experience," Austin Julius said. His sentiments were shared by Mr. Charles. "We are confident given the experience we have had hosting major conferences & that this event will be a success."
Mr. Weekes, who is the General Manager of the Craft House and serves as the National Coordinator of the show, thanked the organizations for their contributions and credited their vision.
"I would like to say thanks to these corporate sponsors for being the first to come on board and assist with the hosting of this show," he stated. "There are still some vacancies available for registration and there is a need to have more local trade buyers involved."

The 13th Annual Caribbean Gift and Craft Show takes place at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort. Over 157 booths and 200 exhibitors will be on display.
