CHARLESTOWN Nevis, January 12 2011 - Not for the first time, the Nevis Bakery has stepped forward to make its contribution to the development of cricket on the island of Nevis. The popular business establishment now in its fiftieth year is run by former local cricketer Clinton Willet and his wife Lorette Brand –Willet who is also a sports enthusiast.
This time around, the Nevis Bakery will be making significant contributions in terms of snacks for two youth matches planned for this coming Saturday 15th January at the Ramsbury grounds.
The two matches which are being played under the auspices of the Ministry of Sports promise to provide much excitement for the cricket loving public on Nevis.
Match one at 9.30 am will feature the under 13’s from the Charlestown Secondary School and their counterparts from the Gingerland Secondary School.
Match two should provide even more excitement as the under 15 players engage the under 17’s at 1 pm.
