BRADES, Montserrat (January 10, 2011) – The Carib Queen will be undergoing maintenance this Wednesday and Thursday and will not be operating ferry services between Antigua and Montserrat on those days.
According to Access Coordinator Vincent Hippolyte “the Government wishes to inform the public that the Ferry service will not be available on Wednesday and Thursday January 12 and 13, 2011 due to a request by the Captain for time off to undergo maintenance. The Ferry has been operating continuously from December 8 to date and is in need of a maintenance service at this time.
“The public should note that the ferry will be operating its normal schedule on Monday and Tuesday January 10 and 11, 2011 respectively and will resume daily (Sundays excepted) services from Friday January 14, 2011.
“WINAIR will be providing an additional service on Wednesday morning January 12; two services on Thursday Morning January 13; and one additional service on Friday January 14.
Both WINAIR and FlyMontserrat can be contacted for travel arrangements on Wednesday and Thursday January 12 and 13, 2011.
