Basseterre, St. Kitts (24th July 2006) - Take advantage of an opportunity to improve your future earning capacity by applying for a partial scholarship to attend the Florida Caribbean Institute. Preference will be given to graduate students.
The Florida Caribbean Institute (FCI) provides scholarships to qualified Caribbean students by waiving the out-of-state tuition to pursue studies in any discipline. Students who have been fully admitted to a state college or university in the State of Florida are eligible for the partial scholarship. Interested scholars must apply at the end of each spring semester before June 15 every year. For further information on the application process visit the Human Resource Department at the St. Kitts Tourism Authority in the Pelican Mall.
"Being offered the in-state tuition as opposed to the international student rate is a great reprieve, as often the latter is double or thrice that of in-state tuition. Therefore this is an opportunity that should not be overlooked, especially for those seeking to pursue their Masters Degree," said Unoma Allen, Corporate Communications Manager.
