NEGRIL, Jamaica, January 25th 2011 – Internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter and producer, Colin ‘Iley Dread’ Levy has been enjoying the sweet taste of local success with his latest single, ‘Lovers Holiday.’ Jamaican radio stations, most notably IRIE FM, have been giving the song frequent rotations on the airwaves. The track displays the artiste’s worth with melodious lyrics over a tantalizing beat.

Iley Dread has been in the business for a long time, having personal experiences with the likes of Bob Andy and the late Dennis Brown who encouraged him to pursue music. Before he turned to music, painting was his main form of self-expression.

Since he started penning lyrics, Iley Dread has grown into a globally recognized act, especially on the Canadian Reggae scene. His 2001 album, Friend for Life, was nominated for a Juno Award and his King of Kings label is well known for having several successful Dancehall, rhythm-driven albums such as ‘Famine,’ ‘Double Jeopardy,’ ‘Latino,’ ‘Most Wanted,’ ‘Martial Arts’ and ‘Coolie Dance.’

Iley Dread has finished his latest album called ‘Unleashed’.
