BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - A lucky person will drive away from the Newtown Football ground in a brand new Suzuki Swift 2011 motor car, valued at EC$60 000, when DIGICEL holds its eagerly awaited draw this evening (Jan. 29).

Country Manager of Digicel St. Kitts and Nevis, Sean Latty said that five persons who qualified to participate in the draw would be given an opportunity to pull the key that starts the vehicle.

He said that persons coming out to witness the draw would get an opportunity to also witness two football matches.

“There will be free credit giveaways, kick for cash and other spot prizes. So, for persons who would like to get a chance to kick for cash, they can send a text with KICK to 7171,” Latty said.

He pointed out that the matches would begin at 5: 00 p.m. with St. Thomas Trinity Strikers playing against Coury Gatorade Conaree, and S.L. Horsford St. Pauls coming up against Newtown United at 7:00 p.m. He said that entertainment would be provided by Small Axe Band.

Latty stated that every customer who had topped up between November 16, 2010 and January 21, 2011 would have a chance at winning the car. He said this opportunity also includes persons who paid their postpaid bill on time or signed up for the prepaid talk and text plans.

He said that his company is very pleased with the response, noting that it is one of DIGICEL’s better promotions.

“It has arguable been one of our best promotions ever. The customer-feedback and participation have been excellent, which is a good litmus test that the promotion was a brilliant one. Who would not want to win a car?” he said.

He assured that the public could continue to expect great, exciting promotions from his company, stressing that DIGICEL believes in giving back to the community in a very big way.

“Bigger and better promotions that will keep customers excited while giving back in a big way to the customers that support us by choosing us as their service provider,” he said.

Latty noted that despite the economic challenges experienced by many companies, DIGICEL intends to continue on the path of executing high profile promotions.

“Our marketing team is always coming up with new and innovative promotions for our consumers that offer value and savings back in their pockets,” he said.

He said the reason why customers have chosen DIGICEL is because of “our quality service, quality network, great products and rates. As such, we will continue doing what we have been doing over the years”.

Latty thanked Nagico Insurances for coming onboard in a big way and stressed that the company had offered to provide one year free insurance for the car.
