From ‘Where Is The Love’ to ‘Better Days’ says Minister LK

By: Cherisse M. Sutton-Jeffers, SKNVibes

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – MINISTER LK has quickly added another chapter to his ministries as he recently penned a new track for 2011 titled ‘Better Days’, which will be heard today (Jan. 30) on SKNVibes for the first time.

Describing the song as one of encouragement, the young man said, “The song is telling people no matter what they are going through there are people who have it worst, but one can always look towards God knowing better days are bound to come.”

Viewers will soon see a music video of the Yard Tune Productions Studio-recorded track, as Minister LK said he has already started shooting clips.

Minister LK, who hails from MC Knight, has been penning and singing songs for over 10 years. He is known for his gospel lyrics, especially the popularly-grown track and music video ‘Where Is The Love’ that featured Scottie Moses.

Last year he had travelled to The Bahamas as a nominee for the 2010 Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Awards for his track ‘What Is Going On’ featuring Zee-Man in the ‘Reggae Vocal Performance of the Year-Duo/Group’ category.

Marlin Awards was created in the Bahamas to generate a platform for the global advancement of Caribbean gospel music.

Born Eugene Vanterpool, the artiste is known to have produced a number of gospel songs with very strong motivational messages. And one of them that he recently completed is titled ‘Alone And Lost’, which he hopes to soon release.
