BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (February 7, 2011) - Plans are being made for the hosting of the Annual Review and Planning Meeting of the Department of Agriculture.
The Annual Review and Planning Meeting will allow the national community to hear about the achievements of the sector in 2010 and prospects for 2011 and beyond.
The Annual Review and Planning Meeting is a fixture on the agriculture calendar. It brings farmers, allied agencies and institutions such as CARDI, IICA, the Republic of China Agriculture Mission and FAO together to share perspectives on how collaboratively they can move the sector forward.
The theme for this year’s meeting is “Achieving Agricultural Impact Through Effective Consultation and Action”.
The featured speaker will be Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris, Senior Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Marine Resources.
