BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AN 18-year-old male McKnight resident was on February 1 remanded in custody pending trial for wounding another youth.

Reports reaching SKNVibes state that Sylvester ‘Syl’ Crossley of Fort Thomas Road had appeared at the Basseterre City Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday (Feb. 1), charged with wounding with intent, and was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.

According to informed sources, police officers acting on information visited the Joseph N France General Hospital at about 1:00 p.m. on January 22 and met a wounded Jabari Archer, who told them that he was attacked by Crossley.

It was learnt that Crossley had attacked Archer with a cutlass and chopped him on his face and head in the vicinity of the Culture Shop on Liverpool Row, Basseterre.

This media house also learned that Archer, who also resides at Fort Thomas Road, had walked from the area where the incident took place to the hospital to treat his wounds.
