CHARLESTOWN Nevis, February 10th 2011 - Parent, guardians and other family members were present at the Charlestown Primary School yesterday as the school commenced its Cross country events for 2011. In focus were the boys and girls from Kindergarten to Grade two. They appeared energized and eager to please and in both races a fairly rapid pave was set.
As the parents jostled to get closer with their encouragement, their fellow students screamed and shouted especially as the various athletes neared the finish line. Even some of the Teachers came out in their house costumes.
At the end of the day, the ultimate stars, Roberto Byron and Azongiah David, both of Red house were first to the tape.
