CHARLESTOWN Nevis, February 11th 2011 - During his address at the opening ceremony of the Nevis Cricket Association’s 2011 league, President Ronald Powell revealed that his Association was contacted by the the WICB to nominate a player from Nevis to attend a Coaching seminar in St.Kitts.
The seminar will be organized by the Sagicor High Performance Center in Barbados. The seminar which will be held sometime in May will run for 10 to 15 days.
Powell announced that the player selected is youthful allrounder, Adelvin Phillip.
Phillip received a warm round applause, especially from the young cricketers present.
Powell also used the opportunity to congratulate his name- sake, Kieron Powell on being the first Nevisian to be selected to the Center and lauded him on his recent achievements.
