CHARLESTOWN Nevis, February 14th 2011 - The momentum in the 2011 local Football league continues to build as the second round of matches appear to be attracting bigger crowds to the Elquemedo Willet Park.

Last evening the high powered Brand Slybo Stoney Grove team was forced to settle for a draw with the determined Villa Int team in a 2-all show down.

The fast improving Odito Morton who has earned his transfer from Stones United to the Stoney Grove team, struck the back of the net in the 37th minute, for the Stoney Grove men but Greg Ford responded for the Villa team in the forty-fourth minute—on the verge of the half time whistle.  It meant that there was much to play for in the second half with the half time score nicely tied at 1-all.

Both teams intensified their play in the second half and then Delroy Arthurton struck in the 70th minute sending the Stoney Grove fans into frenzy.  However, Ruvidson Morton served to burst their bubble when eight minutes later, he found the back of the net for the Villa team.  John Guilbert could not contain himself!

Both teams gave it their all but managed to defend their respective goals right down to the final whistle.  Final score 2-all.
