BASSETERRE St.Kitts, February 13th 2011 - There was tremendous excitement at Beaumont Park last evening as the grand Valentine Bash meet was held. Due to inclement weather, the final race was run in fading light but that did not put a damper on the excitement. The huge crowd was thrilled with some fantastic races from the five card event.

Horse of the year—Tizbig—based on a vote by the horse racing fans.
Trainer of the year—Lester Warren. He had 12 starts and won 11—just edged out Edward Mohan by one race.
