CHARLESTOWN Nevis, February 15th 2011 - The Maude Smith Pre School will be the first school to hold its annual sports meet on Nevis for the 2011 sports term.

This was revealed yesterday as Headmistress Myers indicated that there is a slight error on the original list of sports days which has already been released.  Her school’s sports meet will be held on Monday 28th February and it promises to be an exciting affair.

“For the very first time, we will be having Drag Racing”, she said with a laugh. Never before in the history of Pre school sports, they have had such an event and this year will be a definite first.

As she was prompted for more information about the event, her response was: “Come and see”.

With the air of mystery involved about the novel event, a large crowd is expected at the Sports meet. All of the races will be exciting but there promises an extra buzz of excitement when the featured drag racing event is announced.
