BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – FANS of St. Kitts’ upcoming superstar, Infamus, will be given an opportunity tomorrow night (Feb. 19) to join him at Club Kactus to celebrate his 22nd year as a worthy son of the soil.
This is the second time in as many years that the ’21 Gun Salute’ singer has decided to celebrate his birthday not only with family members and close friends, but also all those he considers to be his fans.
This year however, Infamus said he has decided to host his birthday showdown at a bigger venue, because in the previous year many of his fans were left disappointed after not being able to enter the party as a result of space.
Born Kervin Benjamin, the Green Valley, Cayon resident said another twist has been added to this year’s event; noting the dress code is grey and blue, and it would feature performances by some of his popularly known colleagues.
According to the promoter of the showdown, Diego Spanner of VD House, the colours chosen for the event have no specific meaning, adding, “They were just chosen randomly.”
“I would like to say a blessed love to one and all,” said Infamus, adding that he knows it has been quite a while since they have heard from him but wants all of his fans to know they are always in his heart and thoughts.
“I am inviting you guys out on Saturday, February 19 to enjoy another party of mine…my birthday party. We know that last year was crazy and this year we are going all out, so please try and come out early so you can enjoy yourselves,” said Infamus.
The night will feature endless music by Sweet Sister Sensia, DJ Shaggy, Chalice Sound, Freedom Sound and the newly-formed Unstoppable Sound, that will all take turns in keeping patrons on their feet. And if that is not enough, then please be informed that the Kollision and Nu Vybes Bands will pep things up on the outside of the club to give patrons their money’s worth.
The event will kick off at 9:00 p.m.
