CHARLESTOWN Nevis, February 21st 2011 - Young Troy Freeman just barely missed out on breaking his own record on Friday 18th February when he led the pack in the Joycelyn Liburd Primary School’s senior boys Cross country event.
As he approached the finish line, he was urged on to push it and he obviously gave it his best effort, but was just a little too late. One of the school’s top athletes, Tajarie Arthurton was a distant second and Nazian Dore came in third.
The top ten placers were:
Troy Freeman; Tajarie Arthurton; Nazian Dore; Leroy Chapman; Tarique Hanley; Quawamba Hendrickson; Gevorn Hendrickson; Hugh Stapleton; Marlon Emilien and Ordell Griffin.
The final heats scores were then announced:

Blue 429
Red 482
Green house was therefore declared the official heats champions for 2011 and then the celebrations began.
