Rusty LiburdGeneral Secretary People's Action Movement
The People's Action Movement is committed to true Electoral Reform done in a democratic spirit with transparency, as clearly outlined by the recommendations of the Commonwealth Observer Assessment Mission.

The People's Action Movement made several attempts to clarify the function and responsibilities of the committees appointed by the Government to implement Electoral Reform.

The Government has not yet provided the People's Action Movement with satisfactory explanation to our inquiries.

The People's Action Movement is of the opinion that ALL political parties in or out of Parliament should have proper representation on any committee charged with the responsibility of Electoral Reform.

The People's Action Movement further believes that the process of true and meaningful Electoral Reform should not be rubber stamped by a committee compiled by the Prime Minister.

The Commonwealth Observer Assessment Mission, in its recommendations, clearly outlined the preferred approach to true Electoral Reform.

The People's Action Movement will not stand idle by and allow the government to impose its version of Electoral Reform.

~~Adz:Right~~Until the Government provides clarification on the issues of concern to the People's Action Movement, The People's Action Movement cannot provide a nominee to represent it on the National Advisory Electoral Reform and Boundaries Committee.
