CHARLESTOWN Nevis, February 23rd 2011 - The very active CCC Bath United Football club continues to work assiduously within the community.  Following up on their innovative carol singing during the Christmas season, the club is now embarking on yet another fundraiser.  This time it is in the form of a grand luncheon which will be held on Friday 25th February at the Red cross Headquarters located at Chapel Street in Charlestown. The luncheon will run from 11 am to 2.00 pm.

The club members are also indicating that they will provide delivery of lunches for persons unable to make it to the Red cross building, free of cost.

The lunch which will only cost a mere 20.00 has a delicious menu in the offing.  This includes choices between:

    Chicken/ Fish/ Mutton
    Seasoned rice/rice and peas/pasta
    Scalloped potatoes/Macaroni pie
    Pumpkin pie/ breadfruit cheesy
    Green salad and garden vegetables
    Cake for dessert
    Punch/Ginger beer/Golden Apple

Head Coach Alex Claxton has indicated that his club is interested in working towards achieving what they need and will  not just depend on donations from corporate and private citizens alone.

In the not too distant future, the club will be urging all Bath Villagers to come together for a Village clean up activity.

As a result of their hard work, discipline and overall commitment, the club is currently leading the points standing in the local Football league.  Claxton is convinced that this will remain the same at the end of the season.
