CHARLESTOWN Nevis, March 4th 2011 - Blue house came away victors at the Gingerland Pre school sports yesterday, held under the patronage of Ms Marcella Elliot otherwise known as Melodita Freeman. The children came out in their full outfits –some sporting wonderful hairstyles and even shades in one instance.
On the track, they served to provide great entertainment for the fair sized gathering. They gave it their all as they competed in the usual lime and spoon which on the day turned to guava and spoon; thread the roll, dress up race, tyre race, flat races , among others.
The scores were not immediately available but the placement of the houses was as follows:
Blue house—champions
Gold –second
Red—third
