BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – IN a recent interview with a number of dancehall artistes, who commented on a book titled 'Music, Media and Adolescent Sexuality in Jamaica' written by Marcia Forbes, Vybz Kartel referred to his fans as puppets.
According to a news report by the Jamaica Star, Kartel, before stating that everything he does is well thought-out, said, "Me ago say it now pon this camera and even when people hear it them still going to be like sheep to the shepherd."
He indicated that what people do not understand is that everything he does is well planned, concise and precise from his bleaching to everything else.
‘The Gal Dem Love Off Me Bleach Out Face’ composer went on to say that when people react “little do they know they are just puppets on a string in my game".
Kartel, who said he enjoys being controversial, has been receiving much public scrutiny over the past months for bleaching his skin and making proud statements about it in a number of his songs.
Vybz Kartel currently stands as one of Jamaica’s top dancehall artistes and head honcho to the Portmore Empire.
