CHARLESTOWN Nevis, March 7th 2011 - Vincent Maynard aka ‘Sensee’, karate expert and physical trainer, was the honoured patron at the annual sports meets of the Lyn Jeffers School, held on Friday 4th March 2011. The meet which was held at the Ramsbury grounds, attracted a moderate gathering.
The usual track races were fiercely competed even though the athletes were limited.
Additionally, there were a number of fun races which served to entertain the crowd. These included: Lime and spoon; three legged race and fill the bottle.
Unlike last year, the archery contest was missing from the program.
At the end of the day, Green house emerged as the champion house with 372 points with Gold house in a distant second on 278 points
