So far 2006 has marked a year that shows tremendous associate growth with a number of internal promotions taking place within the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.
Jorge Alfaro has been with the St. Kitts Marriott since November 8th 2004, during this time he has worked as an Assistant AYS Manager, a Housekeeping Manager has been recently promoted to AYS Manager.
Jeffery Byron has been with the St. Kitts Marriott since June 14th 2004, since this time he has worked as Audio Visual Technician he has been recently promoted to Audio Visual Supervisor.
Mark Whetton joined us November 10th 2003, during his tenure he worked as Plant Manager, Assistant Chief Engineer he has been recently promoted to Chief Engineer.
Keeden Isaac started April 4th 2005 as Shift Engineer, is now Engineer Supervisor.
Alicha Warner has been with the St. Kitts Marriott since December 15, 2003, during this time she has worked as a Human Resources Coordinator, Events Coordinator and she has been recently promoted to Event Manager.
Andrew Cleary joined us June 7th 2004 during his tenure Andrew has worked as an Event Manager, Senior Event Manager and has been recently promoted to Director of Event Management.
Pamella Brown has been with the St. Kitts Marriott since November 11th 2003 as Cost Controller; recently she was promoted to Director of Purchasing.
Karlene Ritchie has been with the St. Kitts Marriott since August 16th 2004 during her tenure she has worked as a Front Desk Manager. Karlene has been recently promoted to Night Audit Manager.
Amitabh Srivastava has worked with the St. Kitts Marriott since December 24th 2003, during his tenure Amitabh has been a Assistant Banquet Maitre D, Beverage Supervisor, Assistant Restaurant Manager and his recent promotion is to Cost Controller.
Shameka Veira has been with the St. Kitts Marriott since June 27th 2005, she started as an Accounting Clerk she has been recently promoted to Cashier Supervisor.
Pablo Thurdekoos has worked with the St. Kitts Marriott since January 24th 2003. During his tenure Pablo has worked at the Front Desk, in Housekeeping and has also been Director of Services, he has been recently promoted to Director of Room Operations.
Dimitri Hirsch has been with the St. Kitts Marriott since June 20th 2005 as the Assistant Restaurant Manager of La Cucina he has recently been promoted as the Manager of the Golf Restaurant.
Arne Bakker joined us June 5th 2006 as the Manager of the Golf Restaurant he has recently been promoted to Banquet Manager.
Reynaldo Gazzo joined us November 11th 2005 as a Banquet Manager he has recently been promoted to the Restaurant Manager of La Cucina.
Arturo Escobar has been with the St. Kitts Marriott since May 1st, 2004, he has worked as a Restaurant Manager in several of the outlets and recently was promoted to Assistant Director of Restaurants.
Carolyn Henry has been with the St. Kitts Marriott since July 26th 2004 and started as a Waitress then promoted to Lead Server at the Royal Grille. Recently Carolyn has been promoted to Restaurant Supervisor.
Scott Guilbert has worked with the St. Kitts Marriott since February 7th 2004. During his tenure Scott has worked as a Front Desk Manager, an AYS Manager and he has been recently promoted to Loss Prevention Manager.
Gregorio Solano has worked with the St. Kitts Marriott since December 15th 2005, during his tenure he was a Banquet Captain and he has recently been promoted to Assistant Chief Steward.
Andrinne Robinson joined us November 11th 2004. During her tenure she was a Lead Cook she has recently been promoted to Chef de Partie.
Honorable Mention
Omar Dore has worked with the St. Kitts Marriott since January 20th 2003. He began his career with Marriott as a Cook and then was promoted as a Lead Cook. Omar will be taking part in the J-1 Exchange Visitor Training Program which allows trainees from abroad opportunities to participate in practical training at U.S. Marriott hotels for up to 18 months. Omar applied and was chosen to pursue an opportunity as a Lead Cook for 12 months at the Marco Island Marriott Resort, Golf Club and Spa located in Marco Island Florida (100 miles away from Miami).
