CHARLESTOWN Nevis, March 18th 2011 - Red house led by some forty-one points to take championship honours as the V and J’s Pre School held its annual sports meet on Wednesday 16th March.
The meet which was previously scheduled for the Villa Grounds in Charlestown was hastily changed to the ETW Park due to a lack of proper facilities.
The honoured patrons of the day were Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Liburd who officiated at the march past and made the judgment call of the most impressive house on parade.
The children then engaged in the usual races: socks and shoes, thread the roll, fill the bottle; dress up race and flat races.
A fair sized crowd which included many excited parents was on hand to witness the event.
The final scores at the end of the day were:
Red house—273 points
Gold house---232 points
Green house—219 points
