During brief remarks Mr Daniel congratulated Mrs Webbe on her achievement and said he was hopeful that her longevity would send a message to the youths.
"I want to wish you longer life and God's richest blessings. We trust that the young people watching might take a page or two from your book so that they might do the things which are wholesome and good so that they may be rewarded with many, many years."
"At the Department we pay tribute to our senior citizens because we believe that they have blazed the trail for us.

Mrs Webbe surrounded by her three children, two grand children, Honourable Hensley Daniel, Mrs Patsy Hanley and Mr Llewellyn Parris. |
They have worked hard and long and this bouquet is a mere appreciation, a mere token of your contribution to the entire Nevis society. By it [bouquet] we hope that you will join many others and many others will join you in celebrating memorable years. I usually say to old people they must not grow old gracefully but grow old full of grace," he said.
The token gift, Mr Daniel said, was a bonus in addition to the flowers since she was robust, fresh and not bedridden.
Reacting to the Department of Community Services' gesture Mrs Webbe said words could not express her joy but she managed to muster these few lines "I don't know what to say joy is more than me. Thank you Jesus, Thank You Father, thanks!"
Also present were Mrs Patsy Hanley the Advisor for Health and Mr Llewellyn Parris Advisor in the Premiers Ministry in the Nevis Island Administration.
