BASSETERRE St. Kitts, April 6th 2011 -  A call for good governance from the current Administration was one of the main themes at the People’s Action Movement 46th annual convention on Sunday at the party’s headquarters in Fortlands.

Lawyer Jonelle Powell, one of the youth speakers at the Convention, called for the passing of Integrity in Public Life legislation and for government officials to be transparent with the affairs of the country. He asserted that the economic challenges facing St. Kitts and Nevis were due to poor governance.

Sunday's Convention focused on the youth by allowing the young people of the party to make presentations on selected topics, such as good governance, crime, agriculture, tourism and land use policy and the relationship between St. Kitts and Nevis.

Party Leader Mr. Lindsay Grant, lauded the youth who he described as the future of the PAM.
