CHARLESTOWN Nevis, April 13th 2011 - In keeping with the Board’s promise to expand its retail offerings and provide further convenience to Shoppers, the TDC Nevis Ltd., on Monday April 11th, launched what may be labelled as the Lower Level of the City Drug Store (Nevis) Ltd., This new retail space opens unto the Water Front end, that is, the Samuel Hunkins’ Drive.
The brief ceremony started with a blessing from Father Francis and amongst other Speakers, Mr. Ernie France, Managing Director for the Nevis Operations, thanked the contractors, customers, and staff alike, for making the expansion Project a reality.
“TDC, over the years, has developed a reputation for delivering top quality and today, once again, this milestone is exemplary of just that. Not only does this now-complete facility offer more space (0ver 4, 000 square feet) and a wider variety of products for our shoppers, but as is customary, TDC has once again taken the lead by providing internal and external ramps for shoppers who require physical assistance.
The new section offers computers and computer accessories, office furniture, the Copy Centre, as well as, several terminals for public Internet surfing and general, computer-use access. The Upper Level houses the Pharmacy and other convenience store-type products. Upon inquiring, Mr. France went on to also highlight the fact that the upstairs of the same building is now under renovation, with the goal of making additional real estate available for perhaps retail or office space rentals.
The Upper Level’s (Pharmacy and Convenience Store) operational hours are Monday thru Saturday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, while the Lower Level will close at 4:00 pm.
