BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AN officer of the St. Kitts and Nevis Fire and Rescue Services was today (Apr. 29) charged with unlawful carnal knowledge of a female under 14 years.
Charged is Fire Officer Patrick ‘Flash’ Lawrence of Tabernacle Village, St. Kitts, who was stationed at the Nevis Division in Charlestown.
The 40-year-old man was this morning charged with the offence and taken before a city magistrate who remanded him to Her Majesty’s Prison.
This information was confirmed by Police Press and Public Relations Officer, Inspector Vaughan Henderson, who noted that Lawrence allegedly committed the offence sometime in December 2010.
This media house was informed that the victim is 13 years old and over four months pregnant.
