BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – SANDY POINT’S lyricist with the melodious voice, C-Money, will be heading to St. Maarten later this week to shoot a music video for his new track titled ‘Ladies In The Club’.
Born Collin Wyatt, C-Money will be accompanied by local Video Producer Nigel ‘Tru Capo’ Lewis where they will begin shooting the video at Impulz Night Club, owned by popular St. Maarten DJ Blaze.
According to Wyatt, the idea came about when he visited the neighbouring island for a short trip and enjoyed the atmosphere of its night life.
“After seeing the kind of night life they have and noticing that their clubs have a similarity to those you would see on TV, I wanted to do something different and start reaching into other islands to spread my music. I also wanted the video to have a certain look and feel, and that's what came to me,” he explained.
Wyatt said he would also be using 30 enchanting models from St. Maarten to add some spice and class to the music video. Although ‘Ladies In The Club’ did not see any official release, the song has been receiving some air play on Freedom Radio.
Wyatt will also perform at the Impulz Night Club while on the island. Shortly after his return the ‘SK Sweet’ singer will release a song dedicated to all women, young and old.
The song, dubbed ‘Woman’s Pain’, speaks about the things many women experience in life.
“The song is a very deep and well detailed story. It commends women for the things nobody ever stops to say thank you and sorry for, or even sit and listen to the stories of their pain,” he said.
