Newly-elected Premier of Nevis, Hon. Joseph Parry, is expected to outline his Nevis Reformation Party-led Nevis Island Administration's vision for the future development of Nevis at the St. Kitts and Nevis Chamber of Commerce annual pre-independence luncheon meeting.
According to the private sector body, Premier Parry will be the Guest Speaker at the luncheon carded for Wednesday 13th September at the OTI Conference Room at 12:00 Noon.
The Nevis leader's vision will be given in the context of the twin-island Federation's commitment to the Caribbean Single Market and Economy (CSME) and the OECS Economic Union.
Premier Parry will also address the urgent and critical steps and or paradigm shifts that the people of St. Kitts and Nevis must make to ready themselves for competition in a Global Market Place.
He has also been invited to expound on the NRP's philosophy relative to Electoral and Constitutional Reform for St. Kitts and Nevis and the Federation's key strengths and opportunities on what it will take for the twin-island to capitalise on these advantages in response to the obvious threats and weaknesses confronting the Federation as a small island developing state.
