BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE 2009-2010 National Carnival Queen, Sudeakka Francis, will once again carry the Federation’s flag when she represents St. Kitts and Nevis at the sixth annual Miss Caribbean World Pageant in Tortola on Saturday, May 21.

Francis will be competing against a bevy of beauties from Anguilla, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Guyana, USVI, Cuba, Dominica, BVI, Antigua & Barbuda, The Bahamas, St. Lucia and the Dominican Republic.

The pageant will be held at the Sir Rupert Briercliff Hall and contestants will compete in five segments.

Prior to the show, they will compete in the Interview segment, and on the night of the competition they will compete in the Costume, Talent, Swimwear and Evening Wear segments.

Dominica took the title back to back when Marcia Baptiste won the fifth title last year from a field of 15 contestants and Marah Walter was crowned queen in 2009.

Last year, Fatisha Imo represented the Federation in the pageant and was adjudged winner of the Talent segment.

During her reign as National Carnival Queen, Francis placed First Runner-up at the Miss Carival in St. Vincent and the same position at Miss Jaycees in Antigua.
