~~Adz:Left~~On Saturday, 9 September 2006, the Kiwanis Club of Liamuiga will host its first Family Fun Day at the Independence Square. The Kiwanis Club of Liamuiga St Kitts is part of an international organization, whose motto is "Serving the Children of the World". As a first for its annual program, The Family Fun Day for 2006 will be held under the theme "Reading is Fun".
The President of the Club, Mr. Mauvin Warner states that "The idea of the program is to encourage the younger ones to read at an earlier age, and in doing so, develop their love for reading." Mr. Warner continues that "The program for the day will not only focus on reading, but incorporate activities that would foster including " interactive puppet shows, drawing segments, balloon sculpting and the bouncy castle."
~~Adz:Right~~The Family Fun Day by the Kiwanis Club of Liamuiga will be held at the Independence Square on Saturday, 9 September and will begin at 1:00p.m. The Club encourages all families to come and participate in this worthwhile event.
